Shanghai, China . . . Despite concerns about slowing global economic growth, the triennial ANEX ‘09 (Asia Nonwovens Exhibition) together with the established SINCE’09 (13th edition of Shanghai International Nonwovens Conference & Exhibition) was very successfully held during
20-22 May 2009 at the INTEX Shanghai and Shanghaimart exhibition centers in Shanghai, China.
The event attracted a
total 11,907 visitors (9550 visitors from China + 2,357 visitors from outside China). International visitors came from
60 countries such as Australia, Algeria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Libya, Morocco, Malaysia, Netherlands, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, USA, United Kingdom, Vietnam, etc.
The exhibition covered a total area of 18,000 gross square meters of the two exhibition venues and included more than 350 exhibitors from 23 countries. The exhibitors were impressed with the turnout of quality visitors and feedback from the exhibitors were very positive. Most commented that they felt the quality of the visitors was at a high level, with many of the key people that they wanted to see coming to the show.
As a sign of the success of the event, exhibitors were quick to sign up for a prime space for the next
SINCE 2011 which will be held in
12-14 October 2011 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The organizers reported that more than 70% of exhibitors have already reserved their space for the 2011 event.
